Located in North Central Texas, just southeast of the Texas
Panhandle, the city is a cultural gateway into the American

Wise counties, serving as the
seat for Tarrant County. According to the 2010 Census, Fort
Worth had a population of 741,206. It has been estimated
that by 2030 it will have 1,211,665 residents. The city is

Dallas–Fort Worth

Nueces
County, it also extends into

Patricio counties. The MSA population in 2008 was 416,376.
The population was 305,215 at the 2010 census making it the eighth-largest city in the state. It is the principal city
of the three-county Corpus Christi Metropolitan Statistical
Area as well as the larger Corpus Christi-Kingsville
Combined Statistical Area. The translation from Latin of the
city's name is Body of Christ, given to the settlement by
the Spanish, in honor of the Blessed Sacrament (Eucharist).
The city has been nicknamed the "Sparkling City by the Sea",
particularly in literature promoting tourism. |

the 2010 census, making it the ninth-largest city in Texas and the
71st most populous city in the US. Plano
is located within the metropolitan area commonly referred to

corporate headquarters: Alliance Data, Cinemark Theatres,
Dell Services, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Ericsson, Frito-Lay,
HP Enterprise Services, Huawei, J. C. Penney, Pizza Hut,

Laredo is the county seat of
Webb County, located on the north bank of the Rio Grande in South
Texas, across from Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
According to the 2013 census, the city population was
248,142 making it the 3rd most populated on the US-Mexican border, after San Diego, California and
El
Paso, Texas. Laredo is part of the Laredo-Nuevo Laredo
Metropolitan Area with an estimate population of 636,516.
Laredo's economy is based on international trade with
Mexico. Most major transportation companies have a facility
in Laredo. Laredo's location along the southern end of i35
close to the manufacturers in North Mexico promotes its
vital role in trade between the US and Mexico. |
